About This Puzzle
A classic subject for any train or travel lover, the Orient Express is a well-known beauty of a steam engine. In fact is was on June 5th 1883 that the ‘Train Éclair de Luxe’, which boasted four luxury sleeping cars, two baggage cars and a fine-dining restaurant car, left Paris for Vienna. The journey took just over a day. By 1889the first direct train from Paris to Istanbul was launched and the service was officially renamed the Orient Express.
How It Works
The thirteen-piece puzzle is the easiest in our range and suitable for people with mid to late stage dementia. Each puzzle consists of thirteen pieces that can be assembled within the frame and on a specially printed backing board that is designed to assist and encourage the individual to complete the puzzle themselves.
