Further Product Details:

The tablecloth captures the tradition and the ritual of laying the table, which will so intrinsically familiar to the participants as a time to sit down and share a cuppa and a chat. The images on the tablecloth naturally prompt conversation amongst the group and the laying of the table to commence each session will become a familiar prompt for the group.

The activities handbook provides instructions for sessions around 8 topics to do with gardening. Each topic includes various creative activities and can take several session to complete, depending on individual groups. Sessions are structured to follow a pattern of laying the table and sharing a cuppa and a conversation about the day’s topic, which will flow naturally into the day’s activities (including visual arts, bulb planting, flower arranging, poetry recital, music etc) and then on to reflecting on what has been done in the session and planning for the next session, all-the-while focussing on conversation, discussion and the sharing of personal stories.
